PowerPoint Arcade Reupload (say WHAT?!)

It has come to my attention that PowerPoint Arcade was password-protected for editing. Since this game is discontinued, I see no reason why you guys shouldn't be allowed to edit the file. Unfortunately, I forgot what the password was.

Luckily, I found the PowerPoint Arcade file I used for development purposes that has no password. Therefore, I reuploaded the game with this file. Keep in mind this is a .pptx file instead of .ppsx, so you will need to start the slide show manually.

Just to be clear, PowerPoint Arcade is still discontinued. I am only removing the password, that is all. If you ever hoped to tinker with this old project after all these years, today is your lucky day.

Flashcards for PowerPoint v1.1 Improves Flashcard Stats

The first update to Flashcards for PowerPoint is here!

Based on user feedback, many of you guys preferred viewing the amount of starred flashcards as a number, rather than a percentage. In other words,

15 total flashcards     4 starred

is preferred to

15 total flashcards     26.7% starred

That's why starting with version 1.1, it is now possible to toggle the starred cards count within Settings. Simply click on the text, and the count will switch between a number and a percentage. The number is shown by default.

Bingo Master Board for LibreOffice Version 1.0.2

Version 1.0.1 was rushed, so here's another release with another adjustment I intended to make.

I also finally updated the logo and a screenshot to reflect the LibreOffice version's name change.

Bingo Master Board for LibreOffice Version 1.0.1

A minor update for the LibreOffice version of Bingo Master Board (v1.0.1) was released with the following adjustments:

• Removed the PLUS branding to simplify the name. It was redundant anyway.
• Fonts are now embedded. Although this results in a larger file size, the template should now render properly on various Linux distros, including Ubuntu.

I am aware I'll have to update screenshots as a result of the name change. I'll get to that when I have more time.

I didn't know it was possible to change the tab names on Blogger until I came across this blog post today. The benefits of this adjustment are twofold:

1. It is easier to identify two different tabs on this blog.
2. Search engine optimization (SEO) of my projects should improve since search engines prioritize the first few words of a Webpage title.

If you also use Blogger and want to improve your blog visibility and navigation, I recommend you make the same changes, using the guide on the above linked blog post.

Hopefully this helps those who read my blog and other blog writers alike.

Wheel of Fortune for PowerPoint Version 4.0.1

Updating from version 3.2 or older? Be sure to check out the version 4.0 release notes to get caught up on all the major changes.

Well, there's always that one part of the game I forget to test. As such, here's version 4.0.1, which includes the following fixes:

• [FIX (Mac only)] The buy vowel and transfer totals buttons now work properly with large money values. The Windows version was not affected.
• [FIX] Adds an error message if a user sets the vowel price or house minimum beyond the maximum integer value.
• [CHANGE] If a user attempts to load a puzzle when none exist, a new message box guides the user to the Set Up Puzzles editor.

Version 4.0.1 was re-released a few hours after this post to adjust the performance of the puzzle existence code.
